Car won't start? Troubleshooting guide.

Hello, my car suddenly stopped working the other day without any warning, and it hasn't started since. My friend and I have already tried almost everything.
The system is bled, the diesel pump is working, and the return line appears to be leak-free.
We also tried pulling the car with a rope. The result: If you release the clutch, the engine runs, but it doesn't accelerate. If you press the clutch, the engine immediately stalls :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:.

I'm at my wit's end. Possibly a problem with the immobilizer? Tried with two keys, no success.

This is the AFB engine. According to Wikipedia: A first-generation TDI engine with a distributor injection pump. All fuses are okay. Diesel is reaching all six fuel lines when attempting to start. The diesel filter is almost new.

It's not an immobilizer; if it were, the engine would start and then immediately shut off after one second.

Either there's air in the system (Vp44 pumps are very sensitive to that), or it's a problem with the fuel injection pump's control unit.

Let's read out the error codes.

A common problem with the VP44 pump is a faulty ESP control unit that sits on top of it. I would recommend having it scanned for errors.
