Hello,

It concerns the hall sensor (coupling position sensor G476) on the coupling cylinder.
I am interested in knowing what signal is connected to pin 4 when the clutch pedal is fully depressed.
If I correctly interpret the wiring diagram, then pin 4 is responsible for ensuring that the engine only starts when the clutch is engaged.
Pin 4 of the G476 goes to the BnStg T16/7. This should then be the connector at position E. There is indicated in the wiring diagram that (for a switch) this pin 7 is connected to ground.

So, I understand correctly that the G476 mass is sent to pin 7 of the E-slot of the BnStg, thereby giving the OK for the motor to start?

Vehicle: VW Passat 3C, CBAB, Model Year 2009, 6-speed manual transmission.

Hi,

So, ich verstehe also richtig, dass der G476-Signal an Pin 7 des Steckers E vom BnStg gesendet wird, und dadurch wird der Motorstart autorisiert?

Disclaimer: I see it the same way.

Best regards, Rainer

So könnte ich also mit einem Signal an Pin 7 das Betätigen der Kupplung simulieren?
Z.B. Ignition with a 3-second timer?

Feedback on the topic.
Yes, the mass is transmitted from the clutch position sensor to pin 7.
