VCDS.exe System Error: RT-USB.DLL is missing

Hello Forum,

had yesterday, the above notification. It states that the software should be reinstalled to fix the error. After 10 minutes of installing the new software, VCDS starts... everything is working perfectly.
Today, I want to read different values, but VCDS reports the same error as the day before. I would prefer to avoid having to reinstall it every time before use.

Although VCDS reports that the file is missing, I have found it 2 times.
on the computer in various folders.

Does anyone have a workaround?

Hallo,

die .dll gehört normalerweise in den gleichen Ordner wie VCDS.exe, dann wird sie von der .exe auch gefunden.
Ich vermute einen Amok laufenden Virenscanner, der den Zugriff unterbindet oder die .dll in Quarantäne stellt.
