Hi there,
I'm new to this forum and would like to introduce myself briefly.
Living in the Geestland region near Bremerhaven, I am 38 years old and a qualified mechanical engineer.
Passionate mechanic, mainly working on motorcycles (For street use: Aprilia Tuono 1100, For track use: Aprilia RSV Mille RP), if anyone is interested

.
To get to the main point, I attempted to replace the timing belt on my Audi A4 B8 2.0 TDI.
So far, so good. The timing belt is off – the crankshaft and camshaft are secured, but unfortunately, the high-pressure pump isn't.
Unfortunately, while clumsily removing the timing belt, the hub of the high-pressure pump was rotated approximately 30 degrees further.
Now, the crucial question: How do I proceed from here?
Thank you in advance for your help!
BG.
Chris.
