Error 01279 after attempting to encode an HHA

Dear forum members,

I tried to code the hill-hold assist feature on a gasoline-powered Skoda Yeti (not 4WD).
The owner was aware that it might not work due to the possible lack of a suitable sensor, as the corresponding control unit does not always have a longitudinal acceleration sensor installed.

After the encoding process was completed, error code 01279 appeared. A data block for longitudinal acceleration could not be read, which led me to conclude that the sensor is likely not installed.
I then changed the encoding of the SG to exactly match the old encoding. However, even after that, the error code 01279 still appeared, even after deleting everything.

Did I do something wrong, or do I need to "delete" the sensor somewhere?

Could you please provide us with a complete vehicle scan? That would allow us to identify the specific make and model of the car, as well as its features and equipment.

Error code 01279 indicates that the calibration data from the G251 is missing. If we had a FIN (Final Inspection), we could check whether the sensor is installed.

I would suggest checking the `coding.log` file and the adaptation log in the VCDS folder to see if you can find anything there. It's possible that a simple error occurred when writing the original coding or when reverting it.

The encoding was definitely as desired, and after reverting the change, it was definitely back to how it was before (I had, of course, saved the original encoding and compared it at the end).
Could the missing login have been a problem?

I will definitely perform the basic setup; I had already chosen that option. Now I just need to find a suitable time slot with the client.

A quick update: the error (which I originally forgot to mention) was already present before my coding attempt, but without a warning light.
Today, we were trying to perform a basic calibration, but the previous error was gone. Instead, code 01486 (ESP system function test active) appeared in the fault memory, which wasn't there before.

We weren't able to adjust the basic settings due to a lack of space (all available parking spaces were too crowded), but I hope we can do it soon, perhaps in the evening.

I will provide further updates.
