MFA Up! Is it possible to enable the oil temperature display on a GTI?

Hello,
Is it possible to activate the oil temperature display in the Multifunction Display (MFA) on a Volkswagen Up with TSI engines?
Interestingly, this feature is present in the MPI engines with 60 and 75 horsepower, but not in the TSI engines with 90 and 115 horsepower.

Does anyone have a plausible, technical explanation for why VW "expanded" this feature in the TSI engines?

I would be very interested in seeing the oil temperature again, and I would be happy if it could be "re-enabled" using VCDS.

The MFA/onboard computer is the same. The oil change intervals are a fixed 15,000 km for all Up models, regardless of the engine. However, I suspect this has "political" reasons. The "cheapest" VW model probably isn't allowed to have flexible intervals. It would be interesting to know if the same engine in the Golf also has a fixed oil change interval... but I think I know the answer.
Unfortunately, I can't check if the oil temperature is displayed in the system right now, because the current version of VCDS doesn't yet support my 2019 model, and therefore I can't do much with it.
However, I can't imagine that such a small engine with only 115 horsepower would have such an important parameter omitted in its engine control system.

For model years 2018 and later, not much can be done without a VCDS HEX-V2.

It seems that in this model, the oil temperature is not measured using an oil level sensor in the oil pan.

I suspect the oil pressure sensor doesn't have any sensors in the oil pan at all.

Our Galaxy Ghia (2005) with the BTB engine (VW 1.9 PD TDI, 150 hp) also didn't have one. And that's despite it being the largest TDI engine available for that platform. The vehicle had a fixed interval.

The identical Sharan model with the BTB engine was supposed to have WIV (likely referring to a specific technology or feature) including a sensor.

Therefore, I strongly believe that cost-cutting measures were also implemented in the UP project. "Having a fixed interval is pure luxury, and it didn't even have a motor before."
The rough oil temperature can likely be quite accurately estimated by the MSG (Motor Supervisory Gauge) based on load and water temperature. What's unclear to me is why one is included in the other engines in the UP (presumably a specific vehicle or engine type). Perhaps their ECUs simply weren't programmed with the appropriate oil temperature calculation algorithms (using a different processor?).

I have to admit, that's pure speculation .
