Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor Error T6 15560

Hello everyone, after a long time, I'm reporting again .

I have a T6 with a CXFA engine and 81,000 km on it that has the following issue. This problem only occurs when driving longer distances, starting from around 260 km or more continuously; it doesn't happen for shorter trips. It's very strange. Is anyone familiar with this type of error?

I can't think of any errors off the top of my head.
32807 - Exhaust gas recirculation.
P2457 00 [236] - Insufficient cooling performance:

Could it be that the EGR cooler control is not working correctly, and that the resulting errors are secondary problems caused by the excessively high temperature of the recirculated exhaust gases?

I would start by using the VCDS control module test to see if the EGR cooler can be switched on and off. I haven't found anything specific for the T6, but it seems there isn't a vacuum-operated actuator with a stepper motor, possibly indicating an electric system.

There is also a temperature sensor located at the back of the EGR valve, near the EGR cooler, which I would also check.

Edit: I recommend SSP 564 - The 2.0-liter TDI engine in the T6.

Does the error occur in connection with DPF regenerations? The distances of 260 km or more might correspond to the regeneration intervals.

Thanks for the tip, I'll go ahead and replace the temperature sensor after the EGR cooler.

You can tell if the EGR valve is working by removing the plastic cover from the mechanism.
Let's see if it stays away after a long drive of over 260 kilometers.
It's strange that it only happens on long drives; when I take it for a test drive, it doesn't occur.
