Hello everyone,
Can anyone tell me if the N18 is integrated into the AGR cooler in this vehicle, or where the AGR cooler is located?
Here is the content of the error memory:

Hi,
The engine code "CFH" is not complete; there are variations such as CFHA, CFHC, etc. Therefore, it is best to always include a car scan with the information.
The (electric) EGR valve is located in the "exhaust gas recirculation with cooler" module in these engines. In the CFFB engine, it's located at the rear of the engine, under the turbocharger (it's a bit difficult to access), and I suspect it's in the same location in yours.
Photos and experiences from people who have replaced it would be great, as the AGR valve is known to not last forever.
Best regards, Rainer.

Hi!
SW9977 sounds like it might also be a victim of an update, right?

Hello everyone,
Thank you for your answers.
@ dieselschrauber
Unfortunately, I didn't have a charged battery for the car scanner, but it's as you said.
The actuator is integrated into the AGR cooler.
The interior space of this car is quite limited, especially considering that it's an all-wheel-drive vehicle.
Therefore, we requested leniency from the service center, and to my surprise, Seat is covering the entire repair cost.
Perhaps this is because the car requires more diesel after the update and is worse to drive. This answers the question posed by brezelmann01.
"Thank you!"
Hi there!

Hello, greetings!
I also have a CFHC with the update, and it has approximately 125,000 km on the odometer.
The update is about 3 months old, and recently the AGR valve caused the engine check light to illuminate.
VW offered a full goodwill warranty for the replacement of the AGR cooler (including the valve) and a 2-year warranty on the new part.
The EGR valve is triggered more frequently by the software update, which causes it to become clogged even more (than it already was). As a result, the EGR valve no longer closes completely and cannot reach its lower limit. This then leads to an error message.
The estimated cost is around 1,300 EUR. (2.0 TDI CFHC with 4x4).
Beste Grüße,
Hufe

Hello!
@ Hufe : Could you tell us the year of manufacture and model of your vehicle? Is the vehicle's service history up to date?
Regards,

Hello everyone,
The Seat did not have a manufacturer's warranty because it was purchased from an independent dealer.
Therefore, Seat's generosity is quite impressive.
I already understand that the AGR now has more work to do.
It's being widely reported that the software update improves emissions through the use of an EGR system and multiple fuel injections.
Apparently, the engineers at VAG didn't know that beforehand, which I personally find rather doubtful.
In common-rail engines, multi-stage injection is easier to implement compared to pump-injector engines.
My personal opinion is that they don't want to release any negative press about the software update, so that customers don't get even more upset.
But, as I said, that's just my personal opinion.
SG.
