I need to borrow a Ford Focus from a friend; it's 10 years old.
Replace a brake caliper from the rear.
Because the edge under the cuff is oxidized, leaky, and already somewhat corroded.

It's still that design where the handbrake cable connects to the brake caliper.

I don't remember anymore; it's been too long. The usual procedure was actually to bleed the brakes first, then pump the pressure until the pads engage.
And finally, the handbrake cable is attached. That's how I remember it.

Everyone does it differently; the workshop next door told me the same thing, that it doesn't matter.

Now, a bracket is attached to the new brake caliper for the handbrake cable.
