DQ351 Calibration: How-To Guide

Hello.

I'm just not always satisfied with the shifting performance of the DQ351 transmission in my now 4-year-old Audi S3.

A software update has already been performed, and I have tried to calibrate the system multiple times using VCDS (the latest version, HEX-V2).

The process of clearing the learning values cannot be started in VCDS. While the calibration process can be initiated, it stops after a few cycles and noises. I kept my foot on the brake, didn't accelerate, and the transmission oil temperature was also within the specified range. Of course, I also tried it outside, with the same result: it stops, and the sub-status shows "16".

What's the problem?

Do I need to go to the workshop?
