Increase Printer Toner Yield: 10 Cent Trick

'This is my first post. I stumbled upon your website by chance, and it's fantastic. I read the '10-cent tuning' guide and only performed the boost increase. I replaced the 10kOhm SMD resistor with a 27kOhm resistor. I couldn't detect any significant power increase, maybe 2-3 km/h more top speed, but it could be my imagination. I also have the pressure sensor that can regulate up to 1.5 bar. Could it be that the TDI already runs with so much excess air in its stock configuration that adding more air doesn't improve combustion, and that the boost increase only has an effect when I also increase the fuel quantity?'

That's exactly how it is , you've already provided your own explanation.

The only improvement you achieve is the reduction of particulate matter in the exhaust (less soot).
Instead of an increase in engine power, a slight decrease in power is more likely, as the additional drive energy provided by the turbocharger causes a higher exhaust back pressure.
