Found at a bargain price, but unfortunately, no cable was included. Do I have to buy the cable separately from VW, or can I assemble it myself?

I had my VW GRA (which I had negotiated as part of the purchase) transferred to a new owner.

m.W. has even made the cable himself in the workshop, although it should have been included in the "retrofit kit".

You will, however, likely find that you cannot solder the parts together.

must be soldered, nothing else. This cable is only a cable extension.
