Chrome "mouth" clipped?

Hi.

The "new face" (referring to a car model) has an optional chrome grille (available with the Highline trim level for the Golf).

Is that really just clipped on , so it could be easily retrofitted?
I'll still cover those 25 EUR .

Can someone please take a close-up photo showing how the "mouth" piece is attached to the rest of the grill?

I've only seen non-Highline G6 models so far.

It's been resolved, and to everyone who was planning to do the same:

It's NOT that simple

The chrome grill requires a different air vent, which costs another 30 euros, and that's too much for me.

Our dealer has a high-voltage and a non-high-voltage unit standing side by side.
I have photos and VINs.


The "inlet manifold" is integrally cast with the grid in the CL engine.
In HL mode, it is represented by the clipped-in chrome.
The grid has a corresponding cutout.

That's probably the difference between the grids.

UPS - G6 and G6+ are somewhat different.
Photos are G6 - Data is G6+.

Since Matthias has the G6 front, and I've already seen it, he won't be able to offer anything new. I'll be there on the weekend, when I'm at the G6+ event.
