35i or 3A (also sometimes also referred to as 35i)
So, was ist das Baujahr - Ist der 3A Satz vielleicht gleich dem Golf 3 Satz?

Hello!
The steering wheel switches from the 35i / 3A are, in my opinion, the same as those from the Golf III. But, what's the point? My GRA cost 7.50 euros in the electronics store...
Greetings,

@ D.Kurz
Not quite !!
I learned how to deal with these types of people:
35i 88-92
3A 92-97
And the 35i definitely did NOT have the G3 levers, but the G2 facelift levers!!!
I drove a 90s Passat.

@Dieselmartin...
This nitpicking...
Auch der 3A wird noch als 35i bezeichnet. Ich nenne meinen Eicher auch beim freundlichen an der Ersatzteiltheke 35i, und zusammen mit dem Baujahr hat der bisher jedes Teil gefunden.
Up to 1992, they also had equal parts with a Golf... however, with the Golf II (in order to accurately count peas! )

I don't think it's an overreaction, because the G3 Tempomat lever will definitely not fit optically, and probably not technically, into a car from before 1992.
I'm not sure what "wie" refers to, so I've written "my version" instead, so that everyone knows what I mean.
It wasn't about clarifying the different types of levers, but rather finding a suitable GRA lever.
And since a 1H0 lever is also a G3 lever, it is likely only for the Passat AB 92.

Still something @ DOC
This is just the lever - there's a whole set for the G3.
Number ahb ich zu hause.
If Warlord makes a comment about the type of Passat he has, I'll start looking...

Should I get a TDI or not? *g* The Passat 35i didn't have a TDI, but the 3A was the first Passat to have a TDI. So, the Golf lever should probably fit (and if the wiring harness comes with it and the price is similar). On the levers, the part number will not be printed anyway.

@ lord
Hm, actually, that's also true - I had forgotten that the TDI was only introduced in the 3A, because the VR6 was already available in the 35i - which I didn't know before...
Okay, then I'll start looking for...

For what are the 'Satz Leitung', the 'Stossverbindung' and the 'Abdichtungen' used?

I received the scan from another forum.
I did the GRA installation myself during the purchase and had it installed.
I think that the sentence doesn't really contain ALL the parts, the parts seem to be related to electrical equipment.

I don't know if the lever alone is much cheaper, but it's perfectly sufficient. I actually built it myself.
By the way, my vehicle registration also states 35i. 3A clearly says 'no nonsense'. |

AAhhh
The... are among us:

And Google finds even more.
But that doesn't matter - I have a Golf and a GRA, and I've said everything I know about it here.

@Doc
Exactly my opinion! 3A... how stupid, the newer ones are so much better if you don't work for VW, until then it was perfectly clear with the Passat, and of course after the old system (Type 17, Type 53, 53 b, ...).
@Warlord
If the person you're talking to doesn't randomly mention that the Golf III speaker connection also works with the 35i, then I can tell you from my own experience that the small, flat speaker connectors will fit into the pins on the connector behind your fuse box. You might also need to add a small piece of electrical tape to secure them. And according to diagram 4, running 4 wires to it is definitely possible. Unlock the system in the control unit, of course, and then cruise...

That's in case I only get the lever and not the hose set, right?
