Replace Fuel Injectors: DIY Guide & Tips

It's time - the needle valve actuator will be replaced, but:

- Can the nozzle block be replaced by the user, or is specialized equipment required, and/or does it require adjustments afterward?

- Shouldn't all four injectors be replaced at once after 150,000 km to ensure a consistent spray pattern? Otherwise, the other three would likely be much more worn than the new one.

Are there any prices available for these Bosch parts (which I have already selected) for an Audi 80 Avant, 1.9 TDI (B4, 1Z), manufactured in March 1994?

I think everything feels new in May.
I had my Audi AEL injectors checked at a Bosch service center yesterday (at 165,000 km).
Result: The opening pressure is only approximately 170 bar. The target value is 190 bar!
In each nozzle, at least one of the five holes was blocked.

No wonder I could hide from the pursuer like an octopus.
So, I'm having them serviced at a Bosch service center. The wear parts will be replaced.
Cost factor: approximately €90 per nozzle (€45 for materials). After that, they are equivalent to a replacement nozzle from the official supplier. This offers a price advantage of about €100.

The tool is basic: search function.
With me, the new injectors caused a misadjustment of the injection timing.
Therefore, I would not replace a single nozzle unless the injection pressures and spray pattern have been demonstrably verified as being correct.
