Gearbox Damage VW Golf 3 TDI Variant

'Whenever I start driving, the first gear always pops out. The transmission doesn't make any noises, and if I hold the gear in place, everything is normal. I'm 100% sure the problem lies with the transmission. The car has driven 101,000 kilometers (according to the odometer). Has anyone else experienced this issue?'

'Those might be the synchronizer rings that cause your gear shifts to slip; they're probably just wearing out a bit prematurely. Have you checked the oil level?'

Try adjusting the settings again first. Maybe it's just misaligned.
