Hey guys!
It's not exactly the same problem, but maybe someone can still help me.
'A while ago, I replaced the clutch (on a G III GTI from 1992) because it was slipping, but wouldn't you know it, the same problem has reappeared after only 2000 km.' So, now the clutch, pressure plate, flywheel (due to hardening on the old one), and clutch cable are all new, and that darn thing still slips. |

Hi,
Have you checked if the clutch is slipping due to potential oil leakage from the engine's crankshaft seal?
Regards,
Andy. |

Yes, I have. So far, everything seems dry. The strange thing is that it lasts for about 3-4,000 kilometers each time, and then the fun starts all over again. After the second replacement, I noticed some stiffness in the suspension, and I replaced that part as well, but after 2,000 kilometers, the same problem started again. |

Hi,
Could something be obstructing the clutch linkage, causing the clutch to be constantly engaged and leading to excessive wear?
Which clutch cable is installed there? Is it one with automatic adjustment? Does it already have hydraulic clutch actuation?
Regards,
Andy. |

It also has a cable with automatic adjustment, but that's okay. I've also tried installing a cable without adjustment before, but it didn't work. The play in the clutch lever on the transmission side is okay; it fully disengages.
'Therefore, I don't think there's anything stuck.' |
