I received a universal installation guide from the manufacturer for my Eberspächer auxiliary heater. Only Eberpächer modified the heating systems at some point.
Unfortunately, my documentation only shows the new type.
I'm now looking for these downloads for the older model (the hotline isn't helping).
It's actually only about the permissible installation positions of the heating system.
I have a D4WSC system (all pumps are integrated into the heating system).
Does anyone happen to have a copy of the installation manual lying around?
Hello,
I recently had a stand heater from Eberspächer (the same one as you) installed.
The installer told me that the only permissible installation orientation is vertically, so that the water hose connections point downwards.
If necessary, you can also call a Bosch service center near you; they install Eberspächer auxiliary heaters and should be able to help you.

The heater is installed, and the exhaust and intake pipes point downwards (normal position).
2. The heater is rotated from this position (around the axis of the long mounting screw) so that the water inlet now points downwards.
3. The heater is mounted horizontally, so that the cable entry and the bleed screw are located at the top.
No other built-in installations are permitted.
