Hello 'guys',

I drive a Golf IV with a standard AXR 1.9L TDI-PD engine (74 kW) manufactured in September 2001. The current mileage is 73,000 km.

Okay, I just changed the oil and, out of curiosity, I took a closer look at the filter elements. After being able to scrape off some tiny, silver-colored (aluminum?) particles with a small screwdriver, I'm a bit concerned. Is such a small accumulation of these particles normal?

I sent a sample of the used oil to WearCheck for analysis today.

Regards,
Christian.
