Hello!
"On my Golf III AFN, the VTG adjustment was..."
Anlassen beobachtet. Beim ersten Mal (nach 45 Min. (Exposure time)
It reached its maximum level in two phases, each representing half of the total movement.
immediately, while the other one took a short time. In the following attempts...
She quickly moved to the final position in a single, fluid motion.
Is it possible that the vacuum gradually decreases over time due to a leak?
and then only becomes available again after several more rotations?
Or is this already a sign of intermittent stuttering?
Greetings,
Klaus.

Hi,
Of course, there can be many causes, ranging from a disconnected vacuum hose to a worn vacuum pump, a faulty solenoid valve for turbocharger control, or even a mechanical jam. However, you should be able to rule out the latter by manually operating the system.
That's not normal.
Best regards, Rainer.
