The box must be connected to the LMM to function. If there is no connection, there will be no performance boost. However, I don't know which cable it is, but I might check the installation manual again tomorrow.
Rotate T completely to the right for the beginning.
Go all the way to the left.
Then, maintain a constant throttle position around 3000 rpm, and gradually increase the ignition timing in 2-degree increments to the right until the engine speed increases.
Then, by carefully adjusting it, you'll achieve a state where the engine slightly stutters when you increase the idle speed from the normal idle speed.
With S, you do it as you have described it. Turn the steering wheel until it feels stiff, then turn it back 2 revolutions.
After successful adjustment, make sure to turn the adjustment knob all the way back until it no longer noticeably pulls.
