I want to buy new rims!

I have some in sight; they were originally fitted to a BMW E30 with a 4x100 bolt pattern.
Rims: RH Cup rims - 8.5x17 and 9x17.
Since the bolt circle is the same, it only depends on the centering rings of the adapter discs from RH.
The owner said that the centering rings had a size of 57.1.

Will this fit on my Golf 3?
What does this number represent?

Most likely, it refers to the diameter of the centering cone – that is, the protruding piece that looks like a small pipe attached to the hub.

57.1 mm might be the right size for the Golf.
