Hello everyone,
'For some time now, my Lupo 3L has been losing a significant amount of hydraulic oil. After a visit to the workshop, my suspicion was confirmed: the hydraulic clutch actuator is leaking in a place where, according to the VW parts catalog, there is no available seal. Consequently, a complete replacement is necessary. The cost, excluding installation, is €1000.'
My question to you: Can anyone tell me if it's possible to disassemble the clutch actuator yourself in order to potentially seal it and then reassemble it, or does it get damaged if you take it apart?
For all the answers, I'd like to thank you in advance.

Hello,
To the best of my knowledge, the camshaft can be disassembled without causing damage in the 3L engine.
Could you please post your MKB and GKB?
Could you please describe the leak in more detail (is it closer to the bellows or more towards the potentiometers)? Tschüss

hello,
Okay, first of all, something seems to be mixed up here.
Is it the clutch master cylinder or the clutch slave cylinder that is being referred to?
The clutch master cylinder costs approximately 150 euros and is supplied with the hydraulic hose.
The gang nail costs approximately 850 euros.
First, it's important to precisely determine where the leak is.
The seals on the hydraulic hoses can be replaced; they are O-rings. The exception is the seal on the clutch master cylinder. While you can remove the oil seal, it is not available as a separate replacement part.
My experience has shown that if the hoses are damp, then the O-rings need to be replaced. Furthermore, my experience has also shown that it can be sufficient to simply remove the hoses, thoroughly clean the O-rings and the connections.
As far as I can tell, the clutch master cylinder cannot be disassembled.
I don't know if it's possible to disassemble the valve body. However, I believe it's not possible to replace the seals. There are no individual seals available for this either.
greetings

Hello,
The part number for the seals on the potentiometer at the throttle control, for example, is: 085 907 619. Tschüss

Wow, I'm really excited about all the response, and especially how quickly it's come.
Okay, my MKB code is ANY, and I'm not sure about the transmission code right now. It's definitely the manual gear lever, not the electro-hydraulic clutch actuation. In another forum, I read that there are problems with the... metal gasket. The gear lever consists of two parts: a larger piece and a smaller one that resembles a small oil pan, and that's where the gasket is located. This gasket is not available from VW. Can anyone tell me where I can get this metal gasket?
And thank you again in advance.

hello,
I don't think the seal is sold separately.
Sure, I'll try my best. Please provide the text you would like me to translate from German to English.
In case of leaks, it is necessary to check if there is a green color marking on the screw heads.
Color marking present:
Replace the entire camshaft.
No color marking present.
Tighten the six 'B' screws with a torque of 5 ± 0.5 Nm.
Warning!
'Do not overtighten screw 'N'.'
The screws labeled 'B' are the 6 screws located around the outside of the 'oil pan' or cover.
Screw 'N' is the screw in the middle, attached to a moving part. It should not be tightened.
greetings
