Hi,
Today, I checked all the pressure hoses in the engine compartment of my new car. I'm still wondering why the newer model is over 1 second slower in the benchmark test compared to the older one, and also much more sensitive to heat.
I discovered a valve on the thin hose that connects to the air filter housing. It's probably a pressure sensor, or something like that. The question is, did all 1Z models have this part? What does this part do? I'm pretty sure that the older 1Z models without air conditioning didn't have this part. I would remember that because it's positioned so awkwardly near the diesel filter housing in the new 1Z model that it makes it even harder to access.

There are 2 valves on the 1Z that have "zero air" connections.
- The turbo control valve (N75) (officially called the "boost pressure control solenoid valve").
- The pressure sensor for the EGR system.
One draws air from the air filter, while the other draws air from the intake manifold to the turbocharger.
I think the pressure sensor on the Lufi is the one for the EGR system.

The 1Z connector in the Audi 80 has 3 connections.

At the end of the lines (red circle), the air filter is usually located.
I, however, can't think of what the third one is for . :http://img18.exs.cx/img18/3765/ZKD_1.th.jpg{MARKER}{MARKER} 1993 Audi 80 B4 1Z

I'm not talking about the solenoid valve. I mean the actual pressure sensor for the EGR system. If everyone had a 1Z, it was very well hidden on the old one, at least the diesel filter didn't have a bracket for it.
Well, I thought I had found the solution to the performance issue. "My AGR valve is already defective, so the pressure sensor shouldn't be fulfilling its primary function anymore, right?"
But speaking of that, I have another question.
Can an aged LMM (Lambda Measurement Module) cause increased temperature dependence of the performance in a TDI engine, and be responsible for sluggish acceleration at low engine speeds? My LMM values are still within the acceptable range, but the soot limit is often being reached. VW Golf III TDI Avenue, MKB 1Z, EZ96

I have a Golf with a 1Z engine (manufactured in December 1995), and as far as I know, the EGR pressure sensor also has a separate bracket (it's all very well hidden under the intake manifold, right next to the turbo).
The temperature. I also have information about dependence and reaching the Russian border.
logged in just the day before yesterday:
Okay, I'm ready. Please provide the German text you want me to translate.
Therefore, I'm going to either modify my LMM with the 22 kOhm Ulf version or just use a diode (even though the diode trick didn't work on my ASV).
