Speedbuster

Hello,

'I've had the Speedbuster auxiliary electronics installed in my vehicle (1.9 TDI, 110 hp) for about 10,000 km. Since I don't always need this extra power, I wanted to add a switch to the electronics. Would simply disconnecting the cable to the mass airflow sensor (MAF sensor) be sufficient?'

How do I best configure the Speedbuster? I only have one potentiometer. All the guides in the forum are for the PD version.

I don't know your specific device, so my advice is simply: try it out!

For the initial assessment, I would start by running the 2000-4000 test without using any packaging.

Then put the airbox back on. To adjust it, I would turn the potentiometer until the airflow calculator indicates approximately 20 horsepower more than without the airbox.

Then, disconnect the cable to the mass airflow sensor (MAF). If, at that point (within 0.2 seconds), the same reading is obtained as without the device, then it can be disabled by disconnecting the MAF cable.
Otherwise, to completely shut it down, you'll likely need to disconnect at least one, and preferably both, of the wires leading to pump cables 2 and 3. It may also be possible to shut it down by disconnecting its power supply.
