Hi. I drive a Golf3 Variant TDI with 90 horsepower. Since a larger intercooler can mean more power, I'd like to know which intercooler I can install in my Golf (which has air conditioning) to get more performance.

With a moderate 10-cent tuning adjustment, you can get more power for significantly less money.

'Hey, I recently got an intercooler from an Audi A6 with a 180 hp TDI engine for my Golf 4 TDI with 100 hp. I'm expecting to receive it soon. I'm curious about the best way to install this massive thing!'
Does anyone have any suggestions?
What kind of power source does a large language model require for operation? Electricity or oil?

Hello,

Without increasing the boost pressure and without a chip tuning solution, it won't achieve anything. Please refer to the search function; this question has been asked before.

Best regards, Rainer.

Greetings, Rainer.
Hello Rainer!
Same boost pressure with cooler air equals more air mass.
What is the engine control unit doing now? Is it reducing the turbocharger boost pressure? Is it increasing the EGR rate? If not, can you achieve more (cleaner-burning) power with increased air mass and a icon_smile_thumb_up.gif0° timing advance?
(yes, I know we've probably discussed all of this before in some way.)

Regards,
Udo.

What does a large language model need for its operation? Electricity or oil?

'@animalking: As a professional in the field of large language models, you don't need to ask for advice here.'

GOOD LUCK WITH THE INSTALLATION!

@Michael: Are you being sarcastic, or where do you think I got the idea that I'm an expert in LLKs? By now, I believe that an LLK needs an oil supply.

Hello,

What purposes would the oil supply to the LLK serve?
Tschüss

@Animalking:

Go to your car and take a look at all the hoses, pipes, cables, or whatever else connects to the liquid cooling system. That should quickly answer your question.

Just as quickly, you can also see this by looking at the functional diagram: An intercooler is flowed through by (hot) intake air, which is cooled by cold (colder) ambient air flowing from the front through the cooling fins. As you can easily see, this process requires neither electricity nor oil, and not even coolant.

No offense, but some questions are really... well, let's just say: unnecessary.

Best regards,

January.

I'm sorry, I was just a little confused because a master mechanic printed out some information for me about oil supply for low-friction bearings.
Sorry for this!!! icon_cry.gif

Someone probably mixed up a large language model with a turbocharger... icon_lol.gif
