Hello everyone, and first of all, congratulations to all diesel technology professionals and enthusiasts on this excellent forum. I have been a dedicated 'reader' for quite some time, and the suggestions and tips provided here have often been very helpful to me.

However, I am now facing a question where I hope to get feedback from the experience of some forum members. Here are the facts:
It is an AHU /Fault Log indicating:
01262 Magnetic Valve - Charging Pressure Limit / Interruption - Short to Ground
01265 Valve Exhaust Gas Recirculation //Interruption - Short Circuit to Ground
01269 Injector Start //Interruption - Short to Ground (Sounds good)
What have I done so far:
1. Resistance of all valves measured and compared with the specified values. OK.
2. Valve to PLC connection checked for continuity. OK.
3. When diagnosing valve problems, these valves don't make a sound.

I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that my STG is failing. The error persists in memory and resists all attempts to delete it. Simulated errors, however, can be corrected, but only the three mentioned ones.
I would appreciate it if someone could offer a suggestion, as I'm really at the end of my rope.

Hi,

All three actors are connected "to the other cable" together, drawing power from the 12V supply provided by relay 109.

If there is a lack of 12 V everywhere (due to a cable break, etc.), this, in my opinion, can explain all the problems with one cause -> look in this direction, or pull a temporary cable from the output of the 109 to one of the actuators. Maybe everything will work out again now . . .
Gruß Ulf

Hi Ulf
Does the HFM also depend on this power supply? Then HFM should also generate an error entry?

Hi Solgie
Nevertheless, it is important to first check, if there is no improvement after Ulf's suggestion:
Check if the SG is outputting a PWM signal to the actuators during the position feedback diagnosis. If not, the final stages in the SG are defective. That is, however, extremely rare.
Is the SG connector really okay? Here, the original cable is often damaged. Okay, so: Check the line from the SG connector all the way to the valves for continuity. Then, check the signal.
I can't really imagine that the two EPWs and the pump would fail at the same time. What is the background to the error?
