Golf Roof Antenna: Drill & Installation Dimensions

Hello,

Can someone help me with this trivial question? I can't find the dimensions for the exact position anywhere. What is the distance to the tailgate, etc. (I understand that it should be centered on the roof )? Can anyone tell me the original position?

I would also like to know if the antenna rods in the left fender are always passive? Or are there also active ones that are powered through the antenna output of the car radio? I'm having very poor reception since I switched to a Becker Navi Pro!

Treat yourself and install the Bosch windshield antenna. External antennas sometimes attract the attention of a few oddballs. Or, like on my girlfriend's 9N, they can become a target for weasels who might try to sharpen their teeth on them.

I've had that idea too. Unfortunately, variant models seem to be quite rare here! When I do see one, it usually has the antenna in the fender...!
Since I received the antenna as a gift, I wanted to install it now.
