Hello,

'On my Audi 80 / Avant B4, manufactured in 1994, various electrical components are failing one after another.'
First, the dashboard lights, then a few days later the front interior lights, after a week the central locking system, and now even my music!

The fuses are okay.
The power cables are also connected.
The battery is okay.

I don't know what to do next.

Is this a known issue, can anyone help me?

I am now grateful for any advice!

Best regards,
Common merganser[/u]

Is the voltage regulator in the alternator failing? This can quickly lead to overvoltages, which can manifest as defective devices (hopefully just light bulbs in the best-case scenario). Are the light bulbs in your lighting systems defective? Or are they okay but still not working?

The Dir LiMa is fine, just like the pears.

I measured them and couldn't detect any voltage fluctuations or anything like that.

Interestingly, the consumers are completely independent of each other.
For example, the central locking system has nothing to do with the dashboard lighting.

Thank you for the tip.

I suspect there's a problem with the central electrical system. Are there still 12V reaching the fuses?

Regards,
Guste.

I haven't checked it yet, as I'm not particularly knowledgeable about electrical things.

I'm going to work on it with a friend today.

If it works out, or if I find out more, I'll get back to you.

Best regards,
Common Murre
