Hello!

A fuel sensor from a PD TDI engine was incorrectly installed in my AFN VP TDI 81KW engine!

I have, however, changed that circumstance icon_cool.gif now.

Well, my actual question is:

What type of pre-charge pump is installed in the all-wheel drive system?
According to the wiring diagram, there must be one...

I wouldn't be entirely unhappy about a small discussion group icon_smile.gif.

I had a problem with my previous car, a Passat B4 TDI 1Z with 66 kW, where it would constantly stop working due to a lack of diesel, even when it was before the reserve level.icon_sad.gif

It's not a pressing issue, but I'm interested in it icon_wink.gif.

Best regards.

This is not a pre-filter pump; it's just a pump that feeds the dust container (collection container).
It always needs to be full, otherwise the front pump won't work properly.

In all-wheel-drive vehicles, the fuel tank is divided into three separate compartments. Therefore, a pump is installed to ensure that the fuel is always supplied to the fuel tank pickup.

That means the fuel tank is split so that the rear axle has enough space for the all-wheel drive system.

"Does anyone have any ideas, looking back (the car has already been sold, but I'm still curious), why my B4 always seemed to struggle a little bit when the fuel gauge was just above the reserve mark?"
