Audi 100 2.5 TDI: Adaptation Channels?

Hello!

Does anyone know if it's possible to adjust the fuel injection amount through adaptation in this specific system/device?

I went to the dealer today, and he tried using the 'Blue Box' (I don't know the exact name), but it failed. The login didn't work!

The expert there also said that the workshops don't actually have the login codes; he just obtained them privately from somewhere! It seems a bit strange to me.

If it's not possible to do it this way, I'll have to make the changes directly in the software (it's just a bit tedious to burn an EPROM for every attempt).

Sure, I know that post. But he has an A6 C4, which has a completely different control unit.

Well, I actually only asked the question because my car was at a workshop two years ago due to complaints about excessive soot (I was still a relatively new automatic transmission driver back then and thought something might be broken).

'The workshop then connected their diagnostic equipment and, according to the master mechanic, slightly reduced the fuel injection amount. Now I'm wondering if that was just talk, because the workshop I visited yesterday couldn't do that!'

Well, I'll know on Monday, because that's when someone will come and knock to reverse the process.
