Hopefully, someone can help me.
I have an Audi 100 2.5 TDI with engine code AAT and manufactured in 1993.
This one has a message with the label:
Bosch.
0 265 100 056
Probably the serial number is located in the white box.
366 11924
VW/Audi Part No. 4A0 907 379A
"From my accident car with the same engine code (MKB) but manufactured in 1991, I have an ECU (engine control unit) with the following label:"
Bosch.
0 265 100 037
Probably the serial number is located in the white box.
262 03865
VW/Audi Part Number: 443 907 379 C
I want to have the MSG (engine control unit) from a 1991 Audi chipped and then install it in my current car.
The question is whether the control units are the same and if everything will work

.
According to the default data table in the FAQ, both control units are version 1.
The 1991 Audi didn't have an airbag, unlike my current car.
Could it be that in older control units, the airbag control unit is integrated into the main system module (MSG)?
It would be really helpful if someone could assist me or take a look at this.
Best regards,
Markus.
