Unlock TV A6

Hi everyone,

Has anyone already activated the TV in the new A6 so that it can be used while driving, naturally only by the passenger and those in the back seats?

A release is currently not really possible. While it would work with a Diez CAN bus adapter, it's best to avoid this because the steering assistance would not function correctly. Without the speed signal, the steering cannot be controlled at high speeds as it becomes too light.

Enabling is easily possible for RNS-E (A3 (8P)/A4 (8E)/A6 (4B)) and also the current A6 (4F) and A8 (4E).

And regarding the Diez adapter, the Diez adapter has very little impact on the steering assistance.

And no, no one will reveal how it works, because in most cases, a lot of money is involved, and no one wants to jeopardize their business.

Actually, simply disconnecting the blue cable to the navigation system is sufficient. Anything more would be unnecessary.
