Hey guys,
'I've been having a problem with my Ibiza GT TDI (110 hp) for some time. The engine frequently switches to limp mode, meaning the turbo stops working. I can then turn the ignition off and on again, and it goes away. What could be the cause? It mainly happens on hot days, especially when I have the air conditioning on. I have a power box installed, and I thought it might be the cause, but it also happens when I'm driving without the power box.'
What could that be?
Regards,
Monchi.

Hey everyone,
Yesterday, I experienced the same problem with my Golf IV TDI 90 hp (ALH). My Golf suddenly switched into limp mode after about 500 km of highway driving, at a speed of approximately 160-180 km/h. After a short pause on the hard shoulder, restarting the engine allowed it to run normally for the remaining 200 km home.
Today, I had the diagnostic trouble codes read at a VW dealership.
2 errors detected.
16485 P0101 035
Air mass meter - G70.
implausible signal
intermittent error
sporadic error
occasional error
17958 P1550 035
Boost pressure.
Rule difference.
The VW mechanic said that the mass airflow sensor (MAF) and the turbocharger need to be replaced.
Now, I'm wondering if this could be related to the chip tuning, perhaps because the boost pressure was set too high?
I don't think the turbo needs to be replaced; those guys at VW just want to rip people off again.
I would be grateful for a few tips!
Best regards,

Okay, I'm going to have it checked out today. I once had a sporadic issue with the charge pressure regulation difference, but nothing else ever.
Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:
'cu' is a Spanish abbreviation for 'con usted,' which means 'with you.' It is often used in online communication to indicate that the sender is available to chat or talk.
Here is an example of how 'cu' might be used in a conversation:
Person A: 'Hey, I'm bored. Want to chat?'
Person B: 'Cu!'
This means that Person B is available to chat with Person A.
'Cu' can also be used to indicate that the sender is thinking about the recipient. For example, if Person A sends a message to Person B and then receives a reply that says 'cu,' it could mean that Person B is thinking about Person A and wants to connect with them.
Overall, 'cu' is a versatile abbreviation that can be used in a variety of ways. It is a common way to indicate availability, interest, or affection in online communication.
