Enjoy your meal! / Have a good lunch! (depending on the time of day)
Has anyone already unlocked the TV function in the new A6 so that you can watch TV during the drive, of course only for the passenger and rear-seat passengers?
If you need any further information, just let me know.
Peter.

Currently, unlocking the feature is not really possible. While it might work with a CAN-bus adapter from Diez, it's best to avoid that because the downside is that the steering assist may not function correctly. Without a speed signal, the steering becomes uncontrollable at high speeds because it becomes too light.
Best regards, Didi.

Activation is possible without any problems for RNS-E systems in the A3 (8P), A4 (8E), and A6 (4B) models, as well as in the current generation A6 (4F) and A8 (4E) models.
Regarding the Diez adapter, it has very little impact on the steering assist system.
And no, nobody will reveal how it's done, because there's usually a significant amount of money involved, and no one wants to ruin the business.

Interesting news.
Who is responsible for activating the features on the new A6? My understanding, based on what I was told, is that it involves the steering assist and a "Diez adapter."
I never stop learning.
Best regards, Didi.

Actually, all you need to do is disconnect the blue cable from the navigation system. That's all there is to it. B.Eng (FH) u. KFZ Meister

Search engines and auction houses are very clear sources for this information.
Otherwise, someone might come along later and say that we're doing advertising here...

Okay, then go ahead and interrupt the CAN data bus connection...

@know-it-all
I've sent you a private message.
@steffarn
I also don't think it's a good idea to cut the blue cable.
