Here are two examples of the temperature differences at the lower air intake on a Seat Leon 1M, with an ASV (auxiliary cooling system) featuring enhanced airflow in the front end (fog lights remain installed), and a large opening in the wheel arch for improved exhaust flow.

The first graph shows the acceleration on a 10% incline in 3rd gear with the tuning enabled (LD_max at 1.15 bar without overshoot).

The second graph shows a pressure measurement taken in 3rd gear under standard conditions, with the tuning still active (LD_max at 1.15 bar without overshoot).

The measured temperatures, as suggested by Ulf, are expressed in Kelvin and represent the temperature above the outside temperature [K_above_AT].

It's interesting to note the noticeable buffering effect during acceleration on the uphill section, especially at the beginning where the electric vehicle's battery is 'cold.'

More charts will follow.

Best regards, Jochen.

Hier zwei Beispiele für die Temperaturunterschiede am LLK bei einen Seat Leon 1M, . . .

Hi Jochen,

Nice measurements, but I'm finding it a bit difficult to understand the graphs.

For example, the dark green and blue tones in the legend are difficult to distinguish, and while the boost pressure is indicated in the legend, its value can only be vaguely estimated.

Suggestions:

"1. Increase the contrast in the color palette (including red and bright colors like neon green, etc.), and potentially use thicker lines for important metrics (e.g., Delta_T above the Lower Limit of Control)."

2. Assign each curve to the axis on which it is best displayed (e.g., LD in millibars should be plotted on the right-hand axis).

Sure, here is the translation of the text from German to English:

"3. Possibly a legend in German."
Gruß Ulf
