Temperature Variations in Measurement Blocks

Hello specialists,

I've just noticed some significant temperature discrepancies while reading temperature values from various measurement blocks.

Address 01: Engine (038 906 019 HH)

12:57:47 Block 007: Temperature sensor.
-5.4°C Fuel temperature (G81) -> THIS VALUE IS EXACTLY CORRECT!
0.0% Oil temperature.
-2.7°C Intake air temperature (G42) -> Not OK or what?
-3.6°C Coolant temperature (G62) -> Not OK or what?

and

Address 08: Climate Control/Heating (3B1 907 044 C)

13:04:23 Block 006: Temperatures and solar radiation.
-5.0°C calculated outdoor temperature -> is OK.
-3.0°C Temperature (G89) Intake manifold -> Not OK or what?
-5.0°C Outdoor temperature (G17) -> is OK.
2.0% Sunlight (G107)

Now, this is probably off-topic:

13:04:50 Block 007: Temperatures (interior).
Mid-range outflow (G191)
-4.0°C Foot warmer (G192) -> Is this still okay?
-2.0°C Dashboard (G56) -> Not OK or what?
-2.0°C Evaporator -> Not OK or what?

Are there some temperature sensors that are defective?

I replaced the coolant temperature (G62) sensor about a year ago (it was probably displaying -99°C or something like that, and you could tell from the engine's starting behavior).

Everything is perfectly OK. These deviations are completely normal. If all values were supposed to be the same, the car wouldn't have been able to run for at least 2 weeks, and it would have to be in a cold chamber where there is no sunlight.

You can read the oil temperature using VCDS via Control Module 3 in the instrument cluster, if you are looking for that temperature reading.

Thank you for the "reassuring" answers ; the car was parked outside on the street for a little over a day at approximately -7°C.

Then you don't need to worry.

Not even then, because the sensors also have a tolerance range.
-> Even in a thermally isolated environment, you would only get the same data across all channels with strictly selected sensors, or if all installed sensors happen to have the same deviation from the target resistance curve.
