Document A3 to MJ 98, door panel blocked (Solution)

Problem description.
Door panel blocked when opening / closing.

Cause:
The plastic actuator for the window lifter mechanism has broken in the area of the nipple chamber. The window cannot be opened or closed.

Solution:

If possible, lower the window glass almost completely down (until approximately 3 cm before the lower stop). Remove the window glass. Lift the glass out of the guides and slide it a short distance upwards. Detach the window glass from the guide. Push the cable of the window regulator out of the damaged guide piece in the area of the nipple chamber. With your thumb, touch the guide on the inside and detach it from the guide rail towards the outside. Install the new guide, part number: 4B0 837 463, back onto the guide rail in the reverse order. Clip the cable with the guide nipple into the nipple chamber of the plastic guide. Attach the lens mount to the drive shaft.
