2.2 Ohms. This applies not only to driver-side airbags, but to almost all airbag modules/seatbelt pretensioner units.

not quite. I'm currently programming a test unit for airbag igniters... the target value is exactly 2000 mOhms, which is 2.0 Ohms. If the resistance is 2.2 Ohms, the airbag will be considered defective and excluded from production icon_wink.gif.

It also depends on the manufacturer. Even with 3.0 ohms, there are no error messages with VW devices.
