... and the adhesive is now loose.
Is that a double-sided adhesive pad, or is there real glue in between?

On the Golf 6, this part is soldered in place. I had one just last week where it also broke off.
Make sure to apply the adhesive properly.

Then I'll probably have to completely detach the part first, because it seems like there's an adhesive pad in between.
(Daylight is a great thing if you want to see something like that ).

Sure.
Sticky pad that no longer sticks.
I need a good adhesive for attaching front spoilers!

I just realized that the parking sensors on the Passat are also only glued to the bumpers.
Unfortunately, these adhesive pads are a perfect fit, likely due to the perfectly round cutout.
The 1.6-liter gasoline engine has something stuck to the intake manifold with tape.
I could probably come up with something using that.
I don't have body adhesive in 5-gram portions, and a complete cartridge seems like a bit too much .
At least I disassembled the SRA once.
Using a bicycle spoke to push the piston out, I snapped it back into place and disengaged the nozzle. Otherwise, you can't get the SRA (likely referring to a headlight or similar component) out of the front bumper bracket... It's solved differently than on the G5, where everything can be nicely disassembled.
Now I have the bracket separately and can glue it in place without applying too much force.

Hi Martin!
First of all: *sorry* .
Was macht'n da die Oral-B Aufsteckbürste nach Sonnenuntergang bei gleichzeitig u. obligatorisch eisigen Temperaturen da?
...planst Du Deine SRA gemäß ToolTime*grunz,grunz,grunz*-Manier aufzumotzen?
Und damit mein Beitrag nicht ganz umsonst war...
Ask a painter or a body shop technician at (D ). They have very good and specifically suitable adhesives for the materials.
Furthermore, they will likely "sell" it to you in microliter amounts .
Best regards from Munich!

HI.
- after sunset: I won't be able to work on it before then.
- Brush: That completely filthy specimen had to be decontaminated first. Later, I'll add a speck of dust and it will be crookedly mounted.

OK.
I got everything originally .
Primer, 2K adhesive...
The current PDC sensors are no longer attached with pads, but rather with adhesive.
Tonight, we're going to have a wild time.
