The tensioner is bolted on from the rear, so you'll need to loosen a few coolant hoses at the back of the engine to access the tensioner bolt. Estimated labor time for an experienced mechanic is approximately 2.5 hours.

Okay... the 1.6 engine doesn't have a tensioner anymore. According to SSP 442, it uses a flexible belt, which is a stretch-type ribbed belt. So, it's just an idler pulley. It has a specific installation position and should not be confused with a tensioner pulley. Please refer to the repair manual.
