I have a BMW X3 that makes a noise when I press the clutch pedal.
I only hear the noise for about 1/3 of the pedal travel, and at idle speed. As soon as I give it a little more gas, around 300 RPM or more, the noise disappears.
My guess is that it's the dual-mass flywheel, but I won't be able to see anything if I take it out. It sounds like the rattling noise you used to hear from the transmissions on older diesel engines when they were idling.
What do you think, and maybe someone recognizes the sound?
My concern is the rattling sound in the video.

Yes, I had also considered that, but I'm bothered by the fact that it only makes a noise for 1/3 of the distance. On the other hand, the membrane spring will probably become easier to press after a certain distance.
