Engine Control Unit No Power: Intermittent Starts, Heat Issues

The vehicle is a Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI with DSG transmission from 2005.
He has driven it for 400,000 kilometers, and the engine has approximately 250,000 kilometers on it.

Problem: I drove it on Friday, parked it, and it was very hot on Saturday.
"Ignition on, DSG gear indicator blinking, fan started, ESP light is on, no preheating and fuel pump not engaging. Attempted to start the engine with the error message displayed, but it failed. It cranks, but that's all."

"Last night, I removed the engine control unit (ECU). According to the diagnostic tool, there was no power reaching it (error code 01314). However, when it got colder, it started again."

Since it only happens with heat, that's strange.

Okay, everything seems to be fine with the wiring harness. Today I heated up the MSG (Message Unit) and the error was consistently present. However, after it cooled down below 10 degrees Celsius, the error disappeared.
I'll have someone take a look at that message.

If the engine control unit (ECU) has never been opened before, it would be more sensible to obtain a used ECU and have the Waste Fuel System (WFS) either adjusted or deactivated.

The MSG was already showing this issue back in 2013, where the old engine was shaking so much. I also opened it again over the weekend and hoped to see a defect.

Is there an instruction manual for self-repair? Which component(s) and solder joints are defective?

The companies that have been contacted so far are asking for prices between €3 and €400.

Unfortunately, there are few messages online where the numbers and letters match exactly, and I'm afraid of experiencing similar defects.

Search Google for "cracked solder joint," using image search. Research the topic.
Examine the print closely with a magnifying glass and compare the images.
If necessary, re-solder any suspicious areas with a fine tip and lead-containing solder. Don't overheat it!
