I'm bringing up this old thread again.

I had a 7N cable connected, and it was possible to code that into the BCM, and the menu option is available in the MFA (Multifunction Display).

Okay, so I thought I should probably encode the RLHS as well. However, it doesn't accept the encoding that includes umbrellas.

Is the issue with umbrella holders still present in the 7N model?

Has anyone ever encountered a situation where the 7N system rejects a code in the RLHS format (specifically, RLHS 037 0059)?

Yes, because otherwise the sensor cannot enter a sleep mode to save power, and neither can the comfort control unit.

RLHS = No rain closure.
RLFS = Umbrella closure.
