Common Rail Tool Set for Timing Belt Replacement

Hello everyone,

For my 1.4 Polo TDI, I used the Hazet 2588/3 tool set for the timing belt replacement. That worked great.

What part number do I need for the 2.0CR engine for KW, NW, and HDP?

I don't use a single, all-in-one solution for my CI/CD; instead, I use individual tools.
- KW Stop T10050;
- Centering pin 3359, 2 pieces, for inner wheel and outer wheel (or mandrel, drill bit d = 6 mm).
- Counterweight for the N (homemade).
- Very long key for turning the crankshaft (homemade - ring wrench with a flat bar attached).
- same, for relaxing the tensioner roller of the KRR system;

The kW stop value may vary from engine to engine, and it looks different in the Golf 7 with a 1.6L TDI engine. Ask about RLF.

Okay, so the KW stop and the alignment pin need to be taken over.

OEM T10050 = Hazet 2588-1
OEM 3359 = Hazet 2588-3

I just need to buy one more marking pin. I'm going to use original/Hazet parts here, as this one is hollow-drilled, presumably to allow air to escape from the guide.

Hi,
You'll need two probes, one for the front wheel and one for the rear wheel. A simple 6 mm pen will really do the trick.

DIY - You'll need a flat bar, two screws with a head diameter that fits the holes in the crankshaft pulley (top of the image), and two pins that fit the holes in the harmonic balancer (bottom of the image).

Hmm. Okay. Do it yourself. Actually, I didn't want to, as I currently don't have enough time and I also don't know the dimensions.

Caliper? I mean, I must have gotten the dimensions from somewhere.

Could you please tell me the thorn diameter you use for the counter-holder? You can't just easily measure the pressure without installing an additional pump and removing all the extra components.
