| Ratings - Airbag-coding with VCDS **Introduction:** This document provides instructions on how to code airbags using a VCDS (VAG-COM Diagnostic System). **Safety Precautions:** * Always disconnect the battery before working on the airbag system. * Wear appropriate safety glasses and gloves. * Be careful when handling airbag components, as they can be fragile. * If you are not comfortable working on the airbag system, consult a qualified technician. **Tools and Materials:** * VCDS diagnostic system * VCDS cable * Airbag module * Replacement airbag (if necessary) * Screwdrivers * Pliers * Wire strippers * Electrical tape **Procedure:** 1. Connect the VCDS diagnostic system to the vehicle's OBD-II port. 2. Turn on the ignition and select the "Airbag" diagnostic mode. 3. Select the airbag module you want to code. 4.
