Hello everyone,
I'm having a problem with my wife's Audi, and I'm hoping someone here can give me the advice I need.
My wife recently started driving a 2001 Audi A6 4B (C5) Quattro with a 2.5 TDI V6 engine, producing 180 horsepower (132 kW), model code AKE.
In my opinion, the vehicle doesn't necessarily have the performance it should, and especially the fuel consumption is quite high (even compared to other 2.5-liter engines).
Okay, I just wanted to quickly check the basic parameters of this system and also examine and, if necessary, adjust the dynamic start-up time.
VCDS is showing me a static value of 0.0 volts for the oil temperature in measurement block 4.
"However, he starts up without any problems and then runs very smoothly." According to my records, he should have a minimum value of 12 before the OT (optical transition) and a value between 0.0 and 4.0 after the OT.
Quite a few of the sensors have already been checked or replaced. The new parts include: mass airflow sensor, coolant temperature sensor (G42), clutch and brake switches, engine oil temperature sensor (G

. The diesel filter is also new. It is also properly vented.
Both the timing belt for the crankshaft and the one for the ESP are also perfectly aligned with the top dead center (TDC) position.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
Best regards,
Torben.
