P242F error code, Porsche Cayenne

Okay, I'm back. The vehicle is still running in limp mode with error code P242F.

The problem continued to be caused by the DPF. I regenerated it, but there was no improvement; the ash content remained the same. I also couldn't clear the error code. It's driving me crazy. The MKL (check engine light) and glow plug warning light are on, and the error code is always the same: DPF P242F.

Okay, I was completely stumped. I went to a friend who specializes in vehicle coding. I tried everything, but I couldn't delete the error code. I removed the control unit, connected it externally to the computer, reset everything to zero, reinstalled it, and even without starting the engine, the P242F error code reappeared.

What has been replaced, and what could it be?

Sure, man. It's been a tough week.

But I'm glad mine is working again. Our own always seem to be the ones that break down.

I'm happy to be here; I've already read a lot. Although I'm from Rüsselsheim and involved with Opel, I still have a lot to do with Porsche and Audi. So, this fits in well. X
