hello,

I was told (and I had already suspected this, given that there were screw terminals on this hose, whereas everything else is typically made of metal), that the hose that was already installed was not the original one.

I bought the car with 20,000 km on the odometer, and I can hardly imagine that the tire had already been replaced during that time.

After that, I never took the car to a workshop, but I did everything myself, except for one time when I had the battery replaced at a Toyota dealership three months ago (very expensive - 130 euros). Maybe they put something in it. They probably thought, 'He'll be back soon.'

But as I said, it's just a guess, with no proof whatsoever. Nevertheless, I won't go back there. (Toyota Schneider, Dresden, Radebeul)

I'm assuming, of course, that the hose will last a lifetime.

hello,
