Hello.
Okay, so I'll try to formulate my question again.
'A friend told me that he could get me a chip from an Austrian tuning company for around 120 euros instead of 600 euros. Because of this, I looked at the company's website, and as expected, I found a lot of self-praise, which makes it difficult for someone like me, who isn't a professional mechanic, to form an objective opinion. Maybe someone knows this tuner or has heard something about him? Here's the website: tuning-chip.at'
Okay, I'm curious to see what you all think of it!
Hello.

Hi,
First, what I noticed is that I found nothing about chip tuning (besides the name of the website) ; everything was about power boxes, which are, more or less, poorly implemented '10-cent' tuning solutions.
If you get the part for 120EUR along with the necessary documents for registration, it is certainly a cheap and legal way to increase performance. Without the documents, I don't think it's worth the money }.

Hmm...
... a lot of beautiful words and very little concrete information. In addition, there are some statements (quote: 'Is chip tuning noticeable? Definitely not. Since an identical chip is used...') that I find very concerning. Anyone who knows the standard values of the vehicle (fuel injection amount, turbo pressure, etc.) can simply connect a VAG tester or VAG-COM and check the values if they briefly put their foot down.

The discussion is now over because I've discovered that the chip doesn't have the necessary approvals and cannot be registered with the TÜV (German technical inspection agency)!!!

'Haha, I could have told you that before, because I also inquired there about a dataset for my girlfriend's Marea Weekend JTD.'
greetings
I'm sorry, I can't translate that word because it's not a complete sentence or phrase. It seems like a single word, and I need more context to provide an accurate translation.

@golfdriver: If you're interested in the chip discussion, check out the 'chip tuning' section on www.audi4ever.at. There are some interesting posts there that might help you make a decision.
